Replace Tietz Hall Systems, MSU Bozeman

Project Description: GPD, PC provided systems evaluation reports, schematic design, final MEP Design, and Construction Administration services to Montana State University to facilitate the total ventilation system replacement to occupied Animal Lab facilities. The project’s main work involves new, redundant air handling units, a new heating water system that integrates with the existing District Heat Pump system, a new building electrical service, and a new backup power generator. The phased design of temporary electrical and mechanical services required active management of temporary ventilation, air-conditioning and humidity control during the course of construction to ensure animal safety.

Project Budget: $1,700,000
